Walking Services

Active dogs make for happy dogs — friendly fixtures of your household.

Our signature service, Playgroup, is designed to imprint positive behaviors early and reinforce them consistently through thoughtful structure in an invigorating environment — primarily the local dog runs. Playgroup operates Monday through Friday for a 2.5-hour duration, giving dogs ample time to move, socialize, practice boundaries, and settle into healthy rhythms. Dogs are picked up in small groups of no more than four per handler, with handlers working in pairs to ensure the safest, most attentive environment possible. We're all about structured freedom allows dogs to burn energy while learning how to exist confidently within a pack — building resilience, impulse control, and social fluency along the way. The result is a dog who comes home not just tired, but fulfilled — mentally engaged, socially balanced, and steadily developing into their very best self.

Adventure Walks are designed for dogs who thrive on movement and exploration but may not prefer the dog park environment. Instead of the hustle and bustle of a run, these pups get to experience the rhythm of the city — new sidewalks, new scents, new sounds — all under the steady guidance of a skilled handler. We visit many of the interesting sights our incredible neighborhood has to offer, turning an everyday walk into a purposeful outing that leaves them tuckered out and perhaps even a bit more cultured 😁. These walks last up to two hours in small, carefully curated packs of no more than four dogs — always selected with safety, temperament, and group dynamic in mind. Along the way, we reinforce loose-lead walking, polite passing, impulse control, and calm check-ins, weaving light training into the journey naturally and positively.

Schedule permitting, dog handlers may be available for overnights with your pup. While we can't guarantee this service's availability, we've been able to accommodate it many times in the past — it's just one of those things that truly differentiates us from the competition.

★★★★★

Far Fetched Pets has changed the lives of our dogs — all for the better!! We have 2 rescued cattle dogs and both go to the 2-1/2 hour plus playgroup every weekday. All the FFP staff mix play with training and are incredibly responsible and responsive. They communicate with us all the time so we never have to worry about our pups when they are with Far Fetched. Our dogs love each staff member and the playtime and learning time they get keeps them active, motivated, and make it easier for us to continue their training and teaching on our own. We have learned so much from Far Fetched. They are the best dog playgroup in the city. (We have tried several.) We wouldn't be able to raise our cattle dogs in the city without them!
